MAXATAWNY TWP., Pa. -

An alleged case of stalking that resulted in gunfire has led to charges being filed against a Berks County man and his daughter's ex-boyfriend.

Carlos Vazquez and two other men went to his ex-girlfriend's home on Douglas Road in Greenwich Township late Monday night to retrieve a cell phone, state police said.

The homeowner, David Delledonne, and his daughter refused to let Vazquez inside and told him several times to leave, police said.

When Vazquez failed to comply with their orders, police said Delledonne fired a shot, grazing Vazquez, 22, in the head. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a minor injury.

Delledonne, 59, was charged with assault.

Vazquez, police said, returned to the home Wednesday morning and was arrested on charges of stalking, harassment and criminal trespass. He was committed to the Berks County Jail on $5,000 bail.
