Home invader shoots partner during crime

A bizarre home invasion robbery case didn't according to plan.
Shots were fired, at least one victim in the home is hit, and one suspect is hit, wounded by another suspect, police said.
Now two people are in jail and the police are looking for other suspects.
Four men busted in a Tobyhanna Township home and started demanding money and shooting up the place.
The group left after one suspect shot an accomplice in the head.
Police say they were called to the 400 block of Clearview Drive around 9:30 pm on August 26th.
"It came in as a robbery/burglary in progress," said Harry Lewis, chief of the Pocono Mountain Regional Police department. "As our officers were in route there were shots fired from inside the residence."
Investigators say four men broke into the home. Three were armed with handguns and the other was carrying a crowbar.
"It's not a random act of violence," added Lewis. "This location was specifically targeted. We do have good information that is was drug related."
Police say the suspects only got away with cell phones because something went terribly wrong.
"It appears one of the suspects was shot by another suspect in the commission of this crime."
While detectives were investigating another case at Pocono Medical Center, police say Jehova Maldonado, 18, was being treated for a gunshot wound to the head.
"He was immediately interviewed," said Lewis. "However he wasn't completely honest with what took place. Then as the investigation was ongoing it revealed he was one of the actors."
Police arrested Maldonado, and 20-year-old Martin Ranko.
The investigation continues.
We're told the victims of the home invasion had gunshot wounds but apparently nothing serious enough to require medical treatment.
69 News tried to speak with them. They didn't answer the door but while we were at the home they shut the curtains to make sure we were not looking in.
"The case is ongoing and we predict more arrest will coming down in the near future," added Lewis.
Bail for both men has been set at $250,000.
They are currently in the Monroe County Prison.
