Group gives back with P2 Mission in Action

Some teens from Virginia are in town on a mission to serve, but one local church hopes the kids will get more than they give.
This is the P2 Mission in action: washing, vacuuming and putting your back into it.
Right now we are helping set up for like a bbq cook out type of thing that is going on this afternoon," said P2 Missions member Thomas Long.
P2 is a reference to the bible's book of Philippians 2:1-4.
"It basically says we should be one as in body and in our words and basically that means we should be serving each other in any way so that people can come to know Christ," said P2 Missions communication specialist Breanna Troutman.
With that in mind, 15 Virginia teens are hard at work at Allentown's Riverbend Community Church.
Ministering in the community, helping at a food bank...and making sure things are ready for Sunday.
"This is a huge blessing to have the kids come out, said Riverbend Executive Pastor Ryan Knepp.
"We live in a very selfish culture in general and to see kids be able to put all that aside and come and serve people they don't even know in an area that we love here in the Lehigh Vally is huge."
Knepp says he hopes the teens get more than than give while here in the Valley this week, and from the looks of it, they are.
"It made me feel kind of a live trying to reach out to the community. Just trying to make it a little better," said P2 MIssions Member Katelyn Bray.
Knepp says he hopes the students will take that feeling back to their own communities.
P2 organizers say this Christian community service project is coast to coast, 16,000 teens strong.
