SALISBURY TWP., Pa. -

Governor Corbett stopped by a local hospital Tuesday to highlight a new type of treatment.

The governor participated in a tele-medicine demonstration at Lehigh Valley Hospital's Cedar Crest campus.

Tele-medicine brings doctors and patients together through technology.

A doctor can make a diagnosis without even being in the same room as the patient.

Corbett also discussed his proposed Medicaid reform which would require some adults receiving Medicaid to prove they're searching for jobs.

"We believe we can save a lot of money by looking for a reasonable search requirement," said Gov. Tom Corbett.

The Pennsylvania Democratic party says Corbett's plan will make it harder for those in need to get health care.
