A former GOP presidential contender says the Obama administration worked too quickly in implementing the health-care law.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -

A former GOP presidential contender says the Obama administration worked too quickly in implementing the health-care law.

Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Junior met with students Thursday at DeSales University.

Huntsman tells 69 News that the problems with the health care law need to be ironed out soon.

"It's got challenges. There are many of them. They've got be identified. They've got to be worked on. It's such a big part of the economy, health care is, if we get it wrong. It could have a huge drag on our international competitiveness and the ability to create jobs. And that would be a really bad outcome," said Huntsman.

Hunstman served as the ambassador to China before running for president last year.
