Firefighters battled a blaze at a single family home in Northampton County on Monday.

WILSON, Pa. -

Firefighters battled a blaze at a single family home in Northampton County on Monday.

The fire was reported around 9:45 a.m. at 701 S. 23rd St. in Wilson.

Officials said the home suffered heavy damage to the second and third floors.

One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for treatment of exhaustion. No other injuries were reported.

Six residents were displaced.

The fire was under control before 10:30 a.m.
