Dog returns home with gunshot wound; other still missing

State police and the game commission are teaming up to investigate a disturbing case of animal cruelty in Berks County.

UPPER TULPEHOCKEN TWP., Pa. -

Pennsylvania State Police and the game commission are teaming up to investigate a disturbing case of animal cruelty.

Authorities said a woman's two dogs -- "Slash" and "Kingston" -- got out of their yard in the Bernville area of Berks County on Wednesday.

Authorities said "Slash" eventually came home with a gunshot wound; "Kingston" never came back.

The dogs are Labrador/Rottweiler mixes.
