Food delivery people are on edge thanks to a rash of robberies.
Reading police say two delivery drivers were robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.
They say the first robbery happened in the 700 block of Moss Street at around 8 o'clock.
Then about an hour and a half later the second robbery happened in the 500 block of Locust Street.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
People are taking precautions.
The owner of one pizzeria has decided to have two workers in each delivery vehicle.
"This is terrible for the community," said Carlos Salguero who owns Russo's Pizza. "Not only for the delivery people, for all of the people who living here. We got to continue work because we need to make a living."
Police say there have been about a half-dozen of these robberies in a month and a half.
No arrests have been made.
