UPPER MILFORD TWP., Pa. -

A month after a deadly car crash and fuel spill shut down a road in Lehigh County officials are telling nearby residents their water is safe to drink.

On November 12th, a tanker truck and a car collided on Buckeye Road in Upper Milford Township.

James Heller, 61, of Macungie was killed and hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel leaked out of the truck.

Now the DEP says test results show that private wells were not contaminated by the spill.

Buckeye Road was shut down for two weeks after the crash.
