Coroner investigating two deaths

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

The Lehigh County Coroner's office is investigating two deaths along with local police departments and District Attorneys.

Officials said Ariyha Brown, a 2 month old baby from Bethlehem was pronounced dead early Saturday morning at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill.

The Coroner said the cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.  An autopsy on Brown is scheduled for Monday,March 18th, officials said.

The Bethlehem Police Department and Northampton County District Attorney are assisting in the investigation, officials said.

The Coroner's office is also investigating the death of James Maringer, 54, of Kutztown.

Officials said Maringer was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township Saturday morning.

The Coroner said the cause and manner of death will be determined during an autopsy also scheduled for March 18th.

Officials said Maringer's death is also being investigated by the Kutztown Police Department with assistance from the Berks County District Attorney.
