The search continues for a missing dog in Reading.

READING, Pa. -

The search continues for a missing dog in Reading. Not just any dog, but a pup that has endured a lot of bad in her life. 'Faith' was a rescue dog and her owners believe she came from an abusive home. But what is even more heartbreaking about this story is that it is not the first time she has had to endure pain. She previously lost one of her legs in a car accident in Reading.

Faith recently went missing during an Animal Rescue League event 36 hours ago. A tent fell on top of her and she ran off.

"She is very friendly and she cannot really walk too long. She poops out quickly. She is a lover," said Faith's owner Brenda Krick.

But just four months ago, Faith's front leg was amputated after she was hit by a car in Reading and left for dead. Brenda just cannot stand the thought of loosing Faith forever.

Faith was spooked when a tent fell on her at the ARL's 2nd annual Pit Bull-a-Palooza at the Brentwood Trailhead on Route 10. She was last seen near the railroad tracks. She was dressed up for the ARL event: Her tu tu and pink shirt were found deep in the brush. But she still may be wearing pearls and a tiara.

"Do not spook her and do not chase her. Just sit and call for her," said Krick.

As the sun sets on day two of the search, her owners are holding onto any hope that Faith will be found.

"I just want my dog back," said Krick.

If you see Faith do not chase her. Just calmly call her name. If you catch her call Harry Brown at (610) 587-1930.
