Car hits Bethlehem house

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Bethlehem Police areĀ  investigating why a car crashed into the side of a home.

It happened around 3 Sunday afternoon in the 500 block of Johnston Drive in the city.

Police say the female driver lost control, drove off the road and went through three yards before hitting a house at 510 Johnston Drive.

They say she helped a mother and child out of the back seat but they only had minor cuts and scrapes. Police said they were taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

A male passenger's leg was hurt in the crash. He was taken to the hospital.

Police say the car went into an enclosed porch, and luckily, the family that lives there was in another part of the house.

The crash is still under investigation.
