Bethlehem police have raided the home of former City Council President Jim Gregory.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Bethlehem police have raided the home of former City Council President Jim Gregory.

A woman reported that Gregory had secretly recorded the two of them engaging in sexual acts while they were living together from 2011 until last month, police said.

Investigators raided Gregory's home last week and seized several CDs, memory cards and computer equipment.

Gregory told 69 News that he installed a wall clock containing a camera in his bedroom because he thought his girlfriend was stealing from him and possibly having an affair.

He's threatening to sue the police department and the Northampton County district attorney.

Earlier this month, Gregory launched a write-in campaign for the office of Bethlehem mayor.
