Bangor Police arrest Timothy Glascow in connection with attempted armed robbery

BANGOR, Pa. -

Bangor Police have arrested an Easton man they say tried to rob a Bangor resident.

Police said Cory Degroat was near his residence in the 200 block of N. Fourth Street in Bangor when Timothy Christopher Glasgow tried to rob him, using a gun on Dec. 9 around 9 p.m.

Police found Glasgow around 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of N. Eighth Street in Bangor, and he had a gun in his possession.

Glasgow, of 618 Ferry Street in Easton, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery, making terroristic threats, simple assault, possession of a firearm by a convictetd felon, and prohibited offensive weapon.

He's being held at the Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
