Are you ready if the world ends?

Would you be prepared in the event of a catastrophe?
One Northampton County man says he's ready for just about anything.
If anybody is going to survive a doomsday scenario, it's gonna be Frank Belcastro.
"My name is Frank and I'm not crazy."
Extreme might be a better word for Belcastro of Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County.
He's a prepper with his own reality show on the Internet video channel GBTV.
"My family and I are going to learn to fend for ourselves. Even if it kills us," said Belcastro.
Odds are pretty good they'll survive --even on December 21st.
"My thoughts on the world coming to an end, I don't think it is going to happen," said Belcastro.
But if something did happen Belcastro is ready, bunker and all.
He's stockpiled enough food to last for months.
You name it, everything he needs for daily life is on his shelf.
If not, he literally makes it himself.
"To make black powder you basically need three ingredients charcoal, sulfur and potassium nitrate," said Belcastro.
You'll never guess what he mixes in the gunpowder.
"The best thing to mix with these powders is stale urine," said Belcastro. "And I have got some that I have been saving in a jar for over two weeks."
Belcastro uses everything he has to build what he calls redundancies - one safety net after another.
But one thing Belcastro won't be in a catastrophe is lonely.
"No one can be awake defending what they have for 24 hours a day so what I have tried to build up is a small community," said Belcastro.
Building that small community means sharing with his neighbors, and all of America.
"My goal is to have the normal run of the mill everyday American be able to ride through that situation so that we can maintain some semblance of order in our culture after the storm has passed," said Belcastro.
But If things get too rough in his Northampton County neighborhood Belcastro has scouted secondary and tertiary locations.
He says he doubts he'll be going anywhere December 21st.
But after that who knows.
