HELLERTOWN, Pa. -

A woman is in trouble with the law for roughing up a man and busting up the apartment they share, officials said.

April L. Miller bloodied Franklin Levy's nose and bruised his forehead and damaged the front door and window frame of their apartment at 1402 Main St., Hellertown, Northampton Co., at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.

Court papers do not give a reason why Miller attacked Levy, or damaged the apartment.

Miller, 32, was arraigned on charges of assault, criminal mischief and harassment and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $7,500 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. Feb. 26.
