For more than a decade, Wendy Davis has been a fixture on WFMZ-TV's 69 News.
She anchors 69 News at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 10:00, and 10:30 alongside Rob Vaughn.
A native of Berks County, Wendy joined 69 News in 1997 as reporter for the Berks Edition.
Since then, she's covered many major stories for 69 News, including reporting live from the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia in 2000.
She served as a panelist for the highly anticipated debate between Pat Toomey and Congressman Joe Sestak at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia in 2010.
Wendy moved to the anchor desk in 2003, co-anchoring both the popular 69 News at Sunrise and the early evening newscasts. She worked the "split shift" for five years before her move to the 10:00 and 10:30 shows, and a more normal sleep pattern.
In 2005, Wendy was recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Mid-Atlantic chapter for being part of the Emmy Award-winning 69 News: Berks Edition newscast.
Wendy has also received several Emmy Award nominations and AP Awards for breaking news and feature reporting.
Wendy's roots run deep in the Lehigh Valley / Berks County area. Her family has called this area home for generations.
She is a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School in Topton. She returned to her alma mater to deliver the commencement address to the Class of 2007.
Wendy received a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia.
She is married and has one daughter.
