ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A pair of Allentown police officers answered a mother's call for help Wednesday night, but she was no ordinary mom.

She was a mother duck!

A 69 News viewer said she called police after several ducklings got stuck in a storm drain at Berks and Livingston streets.

The mother duck stood by as two officers and a city employee ventured underground to rescue the babies, one by one.

Eventually, the ducklings were reunited with their mother, and they followed close behind as she waddled off.
