Allentown assault victim dies, police search for suspect

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Officials say the man who sustained major injuries from a Friday night brawl has died.

Allentown Police Chief Joe Hanna says 53-year-old Roman Bentley died Saturday evening from injuries sustained in an assault outside Freddie's Bar on Hamilton Street just after 11:45 p.m. Friday. 

Authorities are now on the hunt for the man they believe could be responsible for Bentley's death.

Police say they are looking for David J. Howard. A warrant has been issued for Howard on aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy charges.
