Albright College panel to discuss guns in America

READING, Pa. -

Some Albright College professors are planning to tackle the hot topic of guns in America.

Faculty members from the school's political science and religious studies departments will present a panel discussion entitled, Newtown USA: Guns in America, on Wed., April 3 at 4 p.m. in the Wachovia Theatre.

The panel will examine the ethical implications of the proliferation of guns in the United States and the Constitutional and political roadblocks to gun reform in America, said organizers, adding that the event is free and open to the public.

Panel participants include Brittany Bramlett, assistant professor of political science; Jennifer Koosed, associate professor of religious studies; Mark Oleszek, assistant professor of political science; and Robert Seesengood, associate professor of religious studies.

Bruce Auerbach, professor of political science, will serve as the panel's moderator.
