Accident sends medical van into Reading house

Usually ambulances respond to accidents not cause them but that wasn't the case Friday in Reading.
An accident sent a medical van into two homes Friday morning.
It happened near the intersection of Perkiomen Avenue and South 16th Street.
Police say the van struck a car that was trying to turn.
The van then ran into two porches.
But it looks like everyone will be okay:
Neighbors say one of the homes is vacant.
No one was hurt inside the other one.
And officials say no one was being transported in the medical van.
We're told each driver sustained only minor injuries.
