Officials in Wilson Borough ordered residents to stop using chairs and other household items to reserve parking spaces on public spaces -- or they'll take them away.
Officials said it's illegal to save these spots.
Many residents said it's unfair for someone to take a spot they worked hard to shovel out.
Wednesday, an Easton man was sentenced to decades behinds bars for shooting and killing a woman inside a pickup truck.
Kahmir DeLapara was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in jail after pleading guilty to third-degree murder.
Investigators said DeLapara admitted to killing Amanda Stratford near Ferry and South Peach streets in Easton back in September.
On Thursday, four people were hospitalized and 20 forced from their homes after a fire at an apartment building in Emmaus.
The fire broke out here in the 300 block of Broad Street.
The Red Cross jumped in to provide temporary shelter for the affected residents.
Friday, the fourth person wanted in connection with the brutal beating of a homeless man at a Reading laundromat was taken into custody.
Police had been searching for Floyd Patterson since last month when the beating at a laundromat on Penn Street was caught on surveillance video.
Three other people were previously arrested in connection with the case.
The victim, 49-year-old Robert Mohler, was found dead last week.
Officials said it will take four to six weeks to figure out if the beating led to Mohler's death.
