It's time to take a look back at the stories making headlines this week in the 69 News Week In Review.

Monday, an Easton neighborhood was on edge after a woman was found shot-to-death in a pick-up truck.
Police said said the murder of 28-year-old Amanda Stratford may have been drug related.
Police said the South Peach Street location where Stratford's body was found is known for drug activity.
No arrests have been made.

On Tuesday, legislators renewed the push to eliminate school property taxes.
Proposed legislation would eliminate the school property tax and make up the revenue with higher sales and incomes taxes.
Supporters say taxes would be more fairly distributed.
Opponents say the plan would not provide adequate funding to public schools.

Wednesday, three Pocono Mountain East High School football players are injured in a violent crash.
Two of the players -- 17-year-olds Steve Dienno and Justin Bullock -- are still in critical condition.
According to investigators, Dienno lost control of the car; it went airborne and hit two trees before splitting in half.

On Thursday, a former Lehigh County youth soccer club official who admitted to stealing more than $100,000 from the team issued a public apology.
As required by the courts, former TriBoro Soccer Club treasurer Brian Farley made the apology at the start of the club's annual clinic in Whitehall.
Officials said Farley stole the money during his six-year tenure as treasurer.
Farley must serve five years probation and pay back the money he stole.

Friday, Shocktoberfest opened in Berks County amid swirling controversy.
The event got world-wide attention after word spread that guests would be allowed to go through a haunted house naked.
Just one day before the event's opening, Spring Township officials denied a permit that would have allowed guests to take their clothes off.
