It's time to take a look back at the stories making headlines this week in the 69 News Week In Review.

Monday, a Berks County man died, just one day after being rescued from a reservoir in Muhlenberg Township.

61-year old Glenn Urban of Reading fell in the water while fishing last weekend and started yelling for help.

A Good Samaritan jumped in the water to rescue Urban, who died the following day.

The coroner's office says Urban died of an accidental drowning.

Tuesday, the state of Pennsylvania filed suit against the Montgomery County clerk for issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

The Department of Health claims clerk D. Bruce Hanes is breaking the law by issuing marriage licenses not recognized by the state.

County officials contend the Department of Health doesn't have standing in the case. They say there is nothing in the state's constitution barring same-sex couples from marrying.

Wednesday, the Schuylkill County police chief who came under fire for posting profanity laced videos about gun rights was suspended from his job.

The Gilberton Borough Council voted to suspend Mark Kessler for 30 days.

The council said Kessler inappropriately used borough-owned equipment in the videos.

The meeting was packed by people on both sides of the issue, including a group of supporters with weapons.

Thursday, fears run high for a Bethlehem man who went missing while on a hiking trip on the West Coast.

Family members say Matthew Greene was last heard from on July 16.

The family he is an avid hiker.

Greene, a 39-year-old Nazareth High school math teacher, usually goes on a trip every summer.

Friends have started a Facebook page they hope will help locate Greene.

Friday, an early morning drug raid in Easton uncovered two alleged meth labs and netted five arrests.

The raids targeted homes on Lehigh, Monroe, Liberty and 5th streets.

In addition to uncovering the meth labs, police say they found a motorcycle and two handguns that may have been involved in a shooting late last month.

So far, police aren't saying if there's any connection between the shooting and the raids.
