Week in Review

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

It's time to take a look back at the stories making headlines this week in the 69 News week in review.

Two men were arrested early Christmas morning after a fight in Northampton County.
It happened at Pennsylvania Roadhouse Bar and Grill in Plainfield Township.

Police said the fight started across the street from the bar outside George Kucharik's home after one of his sons said he saw another man punch their mailbox.

Court documents show several people including Gerald Beam, 29, left the bar to break up the fight.

A bartender said  Kucharik then came after Beam inside the bar, and said surveillance video later shows Kucharik throwing a log at Beam and missing, but smashing the cash register and several bottles.

Beam and the man who punched the mailbox were arrested.

Police said the brawl is still under investigation.

Rain, sleet, snow and wind traveled through the area, causing several crashes on area roadways.

A tractor trailer was hanging off the side of an overpass on Interstate 78 West in Northampton County, and closed the roadway for several hours.

And several fender benders were reported across Berks County and throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Officials said the woman's burning body was found just off Chestnut Hill Road.

The Lehigh County Coroner's office said the victim is between 20 and 40 years old, and is either white, or a light skinned Hispanic female. She also has a tattoo on the right side of her neck that says "Javi," according to officials.

The coroner said suffocation and thermal injuries were the cause of the woman's death.
