It's time to take a look back at the stories making headlines this week in the 69 News week in review.
Tuesday, former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison for molesting 10 boys.
The judge called it a life sentence for the 68-year-old Sandusky.
In a statement to the Penn State radio station and in court, Sandusky maintained his innocence, saying his accusers conspired against him.
Also, the state moved to revoke Sandusky's $59,000-a-year pension.
A woman is accused a fatally stabbing her boyfriend in the neck during a fight in Allentown on Wednesday, police said.
Carolina Feliz, 36, was charged in connection with the death of Desiderio Morales, 52, inside a home on South Ninth Street in Allentown, police said.
According to authorities, Feliz kept the knife hidden under her pillow before the altercation.
Feliz told officers she had been drinking with her mother the night before and anticipated problems with Morales the next morning, police said.
Bad weather caused a helicopter crash that killed two men in the Poconos on Wednesday morning, police said.
The chopper plunged into a wooded area off I-380 near Tobyhanna, Monroe County.
The men were returning to New York City after a golf outing in Elmira, N.Y.
William Ellsworth, of Hunterdon County, N.J., was piloting the chopper and was one of the men killed, officials said.
Another man was seriously injured.
Investigators made an arrest in connection with the death of Plymouth Township police officer Brad Fox.
Michael Henry is accused of selling he murder weapon to Fox's killer and was arraigned on nine felony counts on Wednesday, officials said.
Henry supplied Andrew Thomas with nine firearms, including the murder weapon, authorities said.
Thomas ambushed Fox while Fox was investigating a hit-and-run accident on Sept. 13, officials said.
Thomas then shot and killed himself.
