McAdoo fire

MCADOO, Pa. -

A raging apartment building fire in McAdoo late Saturday night left three people critically injured, including a young girl, according to fire officials.

The fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 20 block of Kennedy Drive.

McAdoo Assistant Fire Chief Bob Leshko said four victims were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. They are 45-year-old Lorraine Searfoss, 16-year-old Savana Searfoss, 21-year-old Dylan Danko and 6-year-old Madison Arner.

Leshko said the young girl, Lorraine Searfoss and Danko were listed in critical condition, as of Sunday morning. Savana Searfoss was listed in stable condition.

Leshko said the 6-year-old was resuscitated three times from cardiac arrest at the scene and on the way to the hospital.

Crews from 12 area fire departments needed about two hours to get the blaze under control, according to officials.

Leshko said the fire was accidentally caused by an electrical problem.
