ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown Police arrested and charged four people they said tried robbing two juveniles Friday night.

Police said two juvenile girls were walking in the 1300 block of Tilghman Street around 9pm Friday, when they told police a vehicle pulled up alongside them, a passenger got out, displayed a toy gun and demanded money.

Police said the girls continued walking when someone exited the vehicle and demanded items from them.  The girls did not immediately hand over their things, police said, and the actors then got back into the car and fled the scene.

The victims were able to identify the vehicle by giving police a license plate number, and police then located it in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue.

Four people were taken into custody and charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, police said.  In addition, a female suspect was also charged with simple assault and terroristic threats for displaying the toy gun at the female victim, police said.
