KUTZTOWN, Pa. -

One fraternity's effort to raise money has created a lot of buzz on Kutztown University's campus.

Kappa Sigma is hosting its seventh annual "Shave to Save" event.

Local barbers donated their time to give haircuts on campus. All the money raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

"It means a lot to not us, but the whole campus in general because this is a way for us to come together as a whole university," said Tim Suder, co-chairman of the event.

Organizers said they wanted to bring in $10,000 this year.
