A woman accused accused of taking part in a global terror plot is expected to change her plea.

Authorities say Colleen LaRose, also known as "Jihad Jane" and "Fatima LaRose" plotted to kill a Swedish cartoonist who had offended Muslims.

Court documents show the 46-year-old woman, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, is scheduled for a change of plea hearing on February 1, 2011 at the Federal Courthouse in Philadelphia.

She initially pleaded not guilty.

LaRose and five other people scattered across the globe allegedly used the internet to find men and women to wage jihad in South America and Europe.

Officials say LaRose's directions were to kill the cartoonist in a way that would "frighten the whole non-believer world." They say LaRose even traveled to Europe and tracked her intended target online.

She was arrested in October 2010.
